You will have fun, you will sweat, you will lose weight! It's new and it's great!

Inspired by Latin and other international music and moves Zumba creates a dynamic and exciting experience.
The class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Zumba creates a party like atmosphere that provides a non-intimidating opportunity for non-dancers, new exercisers
or those who have previously hesitated to participate in group classes.
Seasoned exercisers will love the change of pace!

No mirrors! Go with the Flow! Enjoy the music! You will want to return again and again!

Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Cha-Cha, Flamenco guaranteed to make you move!

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfort is key! You will get warm so layering is suggested.
Your usual indoor cross-trainer is fine, avoid anything with too much grip in the tread.

WHAT TO BRING: Water and a towel if you like!
A yoga/exercise mat of some kind when we begin our floor work component.
(the time and date of this will be decided in class during September)

COST: $5! Pay as you go, come when you can.
10 & 20 class punch cards will be available at a savings to you. Watch for details.

TYPES OF CLASS: If we have enough people we will create a Zumba Gentle class specific to that group.
This will suit those with conditions and older participants.

As our program grows we will blend Zumba with other favourites like Pilates, toning, incorporation of equipment etc. the sky is the limit!

Likewise, we aim to please our more advanced fit, hip-swinging, jumping Zumba girls!
Bring your fit and not so fit sisters and friends!

When: Mon. & Wed. at 9:15am & 6pm (1hour)
Mon. & Wed. at 10:30am (1hour) - Zumba Gentle - new
Where: St. Andrews United Church Port Dalhousie, 92 Main St. Catharines
Parking: parking on Main and on Dalhousie (by 101)

Anne Cooke is an IDEA Master Personal Trainer and Medical Exercise Specialist.
Anne holds certifications with CanFitPro, American Council on Exercise,
Canadian Aquafitness Leaders Alliance, American College of Sports Medicine.

Anne has relocated to the Niagara area from Toronto where she ran her fitness company for years.
She and her staff worked in corporations, clubs and private homes.
Anne has logged more than 16,000 hours of instruction and training.
Anne holds a degree in theatre performance from York University and loves to dance.
